Northeast Elite Fall 2026 Team Tryouts are being held August 14th & 15th at Eastchester High School and August 21st & 22nd at Ardsley Middle School. Although we highly encourage everyone to be available for both tryout dates only attendance at one tryout is mandatory.
Northeast Elite normally has two teams for each grade and each team will have two practices per week. Exact Team Practice Location, Days, Times as well as Tournament Dates will be given when invites go out and is based on the team your child is selected to play for ( Days & Times have not been determined yet and there are multiple teams per grade). Practices can be either in Eastchester, Irvington, Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry or Hartsdale and will be included with any Team Invite.
Registration is required to attend tryouts. We are unable to offer any additional make-up dates at this time but you are encouraged to first complete the tryout registration and check “unable to attend” and then second, follow-up with an email to us explaining your player’s team history and level of play. Please make sure to scroll down and read our detailed TRYOUT INSTRUCTIONS as well as FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS prior to emailing with questions or attending tryouts. We also highly recommend that you check the website the night before your child’s tryouts to verify there were no time/date or location changes.

Eastchester High School: Please drive around to the back by the gym and not the main entrance.
Ardsley Middle School: Please walk around to the back left and walk up the stairs to the gym.

TRYOUT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Please bring a one-time Tryout Fee of $30 with you to Tryouts. The one-time fee covers both dates regardless of if your child attends one or two days – cash only at the door.
- All Players who are registering for tryouts are required to complete the Online Waiver by clicking on the blue waiver button on the bottom OR by clicking SIGN WAIVER NOW. There are no exceptions.
- Make sure to add admin@northeast-elite.com as a safe sender so you receive tryout updates and potential team information. Our goal is to have all invites and emails out by August 30th.
- If your child is unable to attend tryouts, please register for tryouts and select “unable to attend – add to waiting list”. We are unable to offer make-ups at this time. You are welcome to also email us in addition to selecting “unable to attend”.
- Northeast Elite staff and tryout participants will be the only people allowed into the gym.
- Please DO NOT bring a Basketball.
FAQ:
- First Practice will be the week of September 7th and the last week of Practices will be no later than the week of November 16th or whenever their last tournament is (which ever comes first). - 5 Tournaments can be expected for the Fall Season. Tournaments can be either 1 or 2 days and/or 2-4 games.
- Excellent coaching with safety above all else. The majority of our Coaches have played and coached in college and in most cases have played at the Division I or Division II level. Some have also played professionally.
