SPRING 2025 TEAM TRYOUTS




TRYOUT INFO

Northeast Elite Spring 2025 Team Tryouts are being held the first two weeks of February. All tryouts are either at The Masters School – Strayer Gym, Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley High School (enter around back) or Concord Road Elementary School, Ardsley (enter around back). Northeast Elite normally has two teams for each grade. One team will primarily be local while the other may play in a Regional Showcase and/or Select Events where there would be a potential drivable overnight. Teams will have two Practices per week. Exact Team Practice Location, Days, Times as well as Tournament Dates will be given when invites go out and is based on the Team your child is selected to play for ( Days & Times have not been determined yet and there are multiple teams per grade). Team Practices can be either in Ardsley or Dobbs Ferry and will be included on any Team Invite.


Registration is required to attend tryouts. Although we highly encourage everyone to be available for both tryout dates only attendance at one tryout is mandatory. We are unable to offer additional make-up dates.

TRYOUT INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Please bring a one-time Tryout Fee of $30 with you to Tryouts. The one-time fee covers both dates regardless of if your child attends one or two days – cash only at the door.
  • All Players who are registering for tryouts are required to complete the Online Waiver by clicking on the blue waiver button on the bottom OR by clicking SIGN WAIVER NOW. There are no exceptions.
  • Make sure to add admin@northeast-elite.com as a safe sender so you receive tryout updates and potential team information. Our goal is to have all invites and emails out by President’s Day. 
  • If your child is unable to attend tryouts, please register for tryouts and select “Unable to attend, please add to waiting list”. We are unable to offer make-up dates.
  • Northeast Elite players and staff will be the only people allowed into the Basketball Gymnasium.
  • Please DO NOT bring a Basketball.



FAQ:

  • First Practice will be the week of March 10th and the last week of Practices will be either the last week of May or the first week of June or whenever their last tournament is (which ever comes first). Certain teams will be playing into the summer and you will notified if that is the case. Teams will have two Practices per week. Exact Team Practice Location, Days, Times as well as Tournament Dates will be given when invites go out and is based on the Team your child is selected to play for – Days & Times have not been determined yet and there are multiple teams per grade. Team Practices can be either in Ardsley or Dobbs Ferry and will be included on any Team Invite.
  • 5 Tournaments can be expected for the Spring Season with potentially more added when applicable. Tournaments can be either 1 or 2 days and/or 2-4 games. Some Teams, but not all will be also be playing in one Regional Tournament (drive and stay) but the majority of the teams will be playing locally (within a 1 hour drive).
  • Excellent coaching with safety above all else. The majority of our Coaches have played and coached College Basketball and in most cases have played at the Division I or Division II level.
